Paint a Day

Her eyes are dark and wild when they used to be bright and sunny; Paint a day he said, a day in the life of her A girl trapped inside of this human body So plain so boring so ugly Said to be pretty But pretty was never enough for her She wants more She is more She has to be She can't just be some earthly little human being When she hears of all the things that happen and are and could be; Fiction. She looks for him; for the boy she knows she'll recognize when she sees' He's there He's real He knows there's more He knows there's her And he'll take her there Fantasy is her reality Is her true being She's different from the rest A dreamer they say Appalled Disgusted Useless Alive Dead Gone Here Words can't describe Only a look A look he will see A look if you would only notice Her voice Is not real It can't be confined to such a thing Not inhuman Not god Not a spirit Not holy Not unworthy Not evil Just different Not pure Nothing Everything The universe The leaves The cities The trees The wind A list can go on and on The ocean And him He is She wants She needs She lives She lives and she walks the streets Sleeps in her bed With her own roof over her head But it can't satisfy There are so many things inside of her tiny little brain Human brain She's lost She's crazy She's told so every day She kills She wills she she she It Time Space Life What is it all? When a girl can sit and do what she can do at a computer screen so small and does it make any sense to you? Does this crowded page on an empty empty online universe mean a thing to you? She doesn't stop She doesn't end It goes on and on and she looks for him Silly little things Humane little things Dirty little things Will take her mind off of this A gift? A power? A will to use? To abuse? To write? When no one will ever see Or hear Because it doesn't matter She's shy He's alive And those things will take her mind of this An Overdose on emptiness She doesn’t care she doesn’t try she doesn’t feel she doesn’t lie insanity another girls ... lack of words spilled on pages who don’t deserve
