"Paint the Perfect Picture"
Whenever I close my eyes and vision God, I don't see myself in the picture. This day dream, at times, makes me feel as if I'm the one that slithers. It's those times I wish to forget, neglect, and surly not recall. This is the moment I pray to God that He has risen me up from a fall. When you live a life of anguish, you become numb to the fact that our sins can stain quick. Our white lives turn green. Filled with jealousy and greed. And in our veins we bleed but our blood didn't save a people from eternal misery. So next to that Tide To Go, we need to carry our faith to show. It's time to paint a picture that's vivid. It's time to kneel before Christ with our hearts committed. It's time to fit the reflection. No longer fearing rejection. Let's stand in front of the altar crying "here is my confession." It's time, it's time, it's time to stop watching the clock go tick tick tick waiting for your damnation to reach six six six. Because when it does the cartoon becomes gory. The sins and failures become burning. The money and drugs become Satan so face it you earned the spot to finally meet Freddy and Jason. The image of life may at times be horrific, we are given white paint to turn our lives into a new vision. It's like a painting of hell painted over in white, painted over with hell, and then painted over in white all to find out this is our life. Didn't you know? The back and forth ended with miraculous birth. God created two lights. One for day and one for night. But the thing is the light of night only is a reflection of the light of day. Jesus is the sun and we're the moon, reflecting his light in this dark doom. Let me repeat it because it may take repetition for you to receive this Holy redemption. The light of day, Jesus, shines upon the light of the dark. The moon which we are reflects the light of His mark. That pictures a horizon but where do we start. The paint is dry but so was my heart. It takes perfection they said. But if I had to be perfect my poor excuse for a man self would be dead. I'm no Da Vinci or Picasso and the image doesn't need to be colossal but I drew a self portrait and God called it a masterpiece. So I painted the perfect picture for my past to see.
