Paint the World
A paint brush, simple and small,
That can be filled with bright, filling colors
Sorts that cover the history that covers
Those crackled, ancient canvases
Violet justifies, Sapphire destroys
The lives and brinks of sanity
With this brush, the world will change
As it covers the old and brightens the new
The things humanity would change
With that magic brush,
The hunger pains, the lack of water,
Environment, death
The worst of the worst, the most common answer
Sickness of loved ones
Me? Cancer, I would dispel,
Destroy, and kill like it has done to others
Loved ones back and forth,
Hair on the floor, disheartened eyes
Throughout this beautiful world
Which sunset will be the last?
If I held that mystical brush in my hand,
The world would be changed,
The suffering of loved ones, gone,
And much love shared.
