Painting

When I first looked at the painting,

the first thing I noticed were the two men/workers

whom I assumed were the shepherd and the fisherman

who prayed to Hermes and Poseidon.

I didn’t notice Icarus’ legs in the bottom right hand corner

until Katherine turned around to lend me a pen

I was able to see the right hand side of the board

as the teacher was pointing it out.
