Painting of Difference
Take a moment and picture it.
Bright blue skies with sun pouring on your face.
Smiling faces all around.
Parks and streets free of debris.
Animals free to live their life without fear of extinction.
Plants grow without worry of complete extermination.
Children laugh and play.
Spouses love one another;
Parents stay together in the harshest of times.
People give to those in need,
and those in need do not force their hand by stealing.
The knife would become foreign and strange,
likewise with the gun,
But this is impossible.
A fairy tale out of reach.
Given the power to change,
every person's mind set would reset.
Humanity would think of anything or anyone's needs,
Before their own.
