"A Palmetto State of Mind"

Smiling faces and beautiful places
Warm breeze through palm trees
A place that I call home

Amicable weather blends with wide open spaces
Always laughing, always bright
Always smiling faces and beautiful places

I could never feel alone
Not in South Carolina
The place that I call home

A palmetto tree and a gorget
That image I've come to love,
Along with those smiling faces and beautiful places

Shagging to the old beach tunes
In all of the Myrtle Beach clubs
In a place that I call home

South Carolina, my love, loyalty, and faith are with you.
I'm always in a Palmetto State of mind
There's only smiling faces and beautiful places
In that place that I call home
