Pandora's Sphere

You seem simple

Yet so complex

You stare back

Your face round and white

In an attempt to discover more about you, I peeled back the layers

But seeing that side of you only made me cry

I tried to shield myself from your opaque wiles

But doing that only made me cry more

I hate cutting you, Onion.
