Panic

Pounding in my chest
I can't breathe.
The only time I get away
is when I sleep.

Nausea
fear.
How did this happen?
Am I safe here?

Constantly worrying
it will strike again.
I worry all the time
I lose my appetite.

The ground around me darkens
life flashes.
Worries surround my head
my heart drops and shatters.

You have no idea what it is like
to live my life.
If you did
you would not judge me like you do.
