Pansexual Pride

You are not me, I know this. But have you seen? All of those people who are free? Free to be, Themselves in front of you and me. Listen up now and listen up good. I'm Pansexual, to me it's Hearts not Parts. So all of you haters, give up now! It's my life not yours! This is my pride rap. This is me. This is meant to express, not offend. But stand up, come out of the closet, DON'T LET THIS BE THE END!

Thank you for this. Seriously.

I've been scared to come out to most people, especially my parents. I, too, am pansexual, but the people who know I'm not straight at all think I'm bi. It's a difficult conversation to have, and I don't want to make it that much harder by trying to explain what "pansexual" even means. It's not the same as bi, and I feel terrible every time I say it, but I'm just scared, honestly. Your poem is inspiring, honestly, and I just wanted you to know kind of how much this has made me think. Truly. Maybe today will be different.

Anyway. Thank you. :) good vibes sent your way.
