Panther Falls

The winding path, the woodsy smell The sound of squishing mud Birds singing in the trees At the end of the path, a bright light The shining sun has finally shone Coming through the busy trees We hear the falling water We start to run, then jump and splash We land in rushing water The sound is mesmerizing All the sploshing, splashing fish Slipping, sliding all around The time you cannot miss The slimy silky feel of the mossy rocks Water pulls you over under and down on them Till you hit the still water When you finally look up And see the sun You see a beautiful waterfall And its glistening glimmering splendor
