Papa

How I miss you Papa I could never describe I miss the way you would sit and smoke your cigar Then tell me never to smoke I miss your contagious chuckle I miss seeing you in your chair With books all around you And you’re Pepsi beside you I miss your sense of humor and your jokes I remember how you taught me To make a paper airplane How to make a fist And how you always read science fiction books But you know what I remember And miss most of all? How you never yelled How you loved everyone And how you loved me And still do Because you were my one and only Papa Morrison
