Paper Doll
Painted on lips
an eternal smile of lead
Eyes that were born still
never to awaken
Blues, reds, and greens, a mixture of colors
bring her to life
There is no beating in her chest
only the wrinkle of paper when she is stirred
But her smile will forever remain
for that is her design.
