Paper Forest

Row after row

of tall tooth pick trees

A light flashes as  you see through through the rows

Blinking light

A flash each row

We grow them to kill them

These trees may soon be part

of the stack of papers on your desk

Soft and fiberous

thin as a needle

But now the paper forest stands strong

Will it endure

the wrath of the human race?
