Paper: a "permanent" record of self
Paper: a "permanent" record for self
A page now empty will be full with words of meditation
Are they just merely thoughts framed in one’s own mind?
Could it be the things not seen for all interpretation?
Are here to motivate and instigate the deeper call to find
Human nerves, where to begin ... I am confused already
Are they part of the deeper me or just a reflection of the surface?
Easily influenced, I know ... through ugly, good or pretty
Is that true ... affecting nerves? Is that the only purpose?
Easily stirred and sensitive by outside stimuli
A way to describe it ... but still failing in words
Environment and manners and influenced by feelings
And really do affect us ... never getting bored
Thoughts and imaginations ... where do nerves fit in?
In a world of confusion our ambitions deem to rise
Our constant wheeling dealing on the edge of integrity
Acts like a never-ending delusion for an artificial price
Nerves are you a reflection of the constant failing in me?
Are you the physical conscience which is always under strain?
Bound between contradictions which exist inside of me?
A rope between the fractured parts that Christ loves to mend again.
When you break down and all pours out without civilized obstruction
You dump all observations with interpretations attached to it
Judge and jury reside in you as you pour out your conclusions
Unrestricted for all to hear through depravity’s mire as do it
