Paper Planes
I sit, pen in hand.
I do not know what to write, to think, to say.
The page is blank, bland.
There are no words in my story,
No lyrics in my song,
No rhymes in my poetry.
I prefer it plain;
It has the potential to say everything
But says nothing.
Instead of tapping lead to page,
I fold a paper plane.
