Paper Swans

Two sailboats cross in the night,

A mystical power of love and light,

Paper swans sweep into the tide,

Knocking together with no reason or rhyme,

Folded into a creature of flight,

A feather so crsip and white,

Coming together beak to beak,

A heart and a soul begin to leak,

Paper swans only meet once,

A glimpse of time one may say,

Alone, together its all the same,

For Paper swans love is tame,

Two sailboats pass in the night,

Each one has a paper swan, so frill, so light.
