Paper thin

I’ve begun to think

That the sounds I’ve been hearing

No

The sounds I’ve been feeling

No

This isn’t right

I cannot hear the sounds

I cannot feel the sounds

I cannot see-

I’ve been seeing the sounds

No

The walls

They are paper thin

The walls

The sounds

Wait

I’ve begun to realize

That the sounds I’ve been hearing,

No,

The paper-thin walls,

Have been hearing me.
