Papers and Pens

As i lay here

I do not see

Simply what life has given me

I can't express my scared heart

I see my life just falling apart

Bit by bit on it how breaks

And simply not knowing how long this will take

I had no way to express my thoughts

Just simply  papers and pens that all I caught

I express my pain at an early age

To this simply piece of paper

I pen in my rage

Its been six years that this has been

Life has turned around since then

I'm a high school graduate now going to attend college

Going to use this gift for good and invest in my knowledge

I see life in a different set of lens

It's nice to know  it all started with a papers and pens
