Paradise

Open up your sleepy eyes

Darling

Wake up from your dream

This isn't paradise

Face reality as it seems

I know you don't want to escape

Your pretty land of palm trees

But sweetie can't you see?

Some things aren't meant to be

Open up your sleepy eyes

Darling

Wake up from your dream

This isn't paradise

Face reality as it seems

Diminish society's disguise

Underneath that false sunshine

The world knows no compromise

Confront the true darkness

That is on the inside

Open up your sleepy eyes

Darling

Wake up from your dream

This isn't close to paradise

My dear

And it will never be
