Paradise

I know where I'll go when I die

Neither heaven nor hell

Or anywhere inbetween

I'll go someplace empty

And cold

Where memories are simply whispers in the wind

And all my thoughts

Are on the patter of the raindrops

Against the thin tin roof

No worries, no dreams

Nor happieness nor sadness

I simply exist to be witness

To the damp smell of the pines

When I die, it will not be friends

Family

Or gods who embrace me at a door

Only the chill Mountain wind

The only embrace I'll ever need
