Paradise

Her essence gave me life In a way which I had never experienced. Our lives were inexplicably tangled, Sometimes to the point that I despised it. She was everywhere. Even her shadows seemed to taunt me, Pressing down on a threshold of sorrow. She was slowly tearing me apart, Making me insane. I felt trapped in a paradise; A cold and lonely paradise, In which I could never leave, In which I was no longer existing, In which my destination was nowhere. A paradise I cannot escape. Despite this, Her essence gave me life.
