Paradise Lost

 Let's go on a journey

I'm seeking a paradise 

A place where there is no worry,

   with calm waters and weather that is nice.

Lo and behold the incredible view 

The ocean's mist is addictive

However time to visit is past overdue 

and I'm done bieng submissive.

it's time to go! 

I dreamed this dream over and over again

The aniticipation is beginning to grow

It will no longer be a silly imagination!

To my dismay 

The sun peeked through my blinds

It was the next day

I looked at the clock  and saw the time

I breathed in deeply with grief

I began to grit my teeth

once again another failed belief. 

The paradise i will never see.
