Paradox

Only one Alone and afraid Heart's a refuge Can't be saved But then comes Another Unlike the rest Another who's torn Inside their chest Two become one Wounds healing wounds Covering up scars A task for a fool None will understand Why one would care Why one would leave Their heart to share Because these wounds only Deepen From the hurt of the other These two binded hearts Dying Together Tearing Ripping As two drift apart Bindings of stone Crumbling To the start Leaving Only one.
