Parasite

At night I fall asleep with my eyes wide open Black holes of endless memories Too afraid to close them, too afraid To breathe And when I finally drift off I am in a Hell made from my own mind Made out of my thoughts, my fears My very essence Brought out of me, to let me see All my flaws out in the open So I am made afraid of myself I can't force myself to sleep, I can't make myself eat I don't want to live In this neverending apocalyptic place The ruins of thoughts and dreams I am being overtaken from the inside With a parasite that feeds on my lost hopes I cannot stop it I cannot cure it I must die

I am a seriously messed up girl with some crazy-shit problems. Poetry has always been my escape, and I want to share it with the world.
