Parents

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your patience.

Your diligence and love,

For the money you wasted on me.

Thank you for staying by my side when I needed it most,

But when I desired it least.

And for giving me love I felt I did not need.

For giving me life,

For giving me chances,

For giving me reasons to stay.

Thank you, and thank you again.

For I will never thank you enough,

For being there my whole life.

Through the surgeries and emotional changes.

Through the bullies and laughs.

Through the tears that I wanted to swallow.

So, thank you,

For giving me reason to live.

Sincerely your daughter,

Kelsey Jones
