Parents

The strength of our mothers

The blood of our fathers

The sacrifice they make

To see us go father

Couldn’t see it when we was young

Full of ignorance and continued acting dumb

But was always there for us when we needed them

As time passes we begin to resent

The love they sent

The love they showed

We begin to believe we can make it out on our own

We begin to believe that we can make our own home

Time passes,

Young bucks moving out

Couldn’t wait to not hear our parents shout

But they cried when you left them

Wondering what that was all about

Missing their child

Seeing you grow up

Seeing you go in the wild

Brings a tear of joy and soy

Cause now they know that their man isn’t a little boy

Anymore.
