Parents

Parents.

My parents were immigrants.

They came to the US for a better life.

Not for themselves, but for their children.

Parents.

My parents did their utmost best.

Lived life working low paying jobs.

They never got what you call respect.

Parents.

My parents raised us very well.

They taught us think before you ever yell.

And to be kind to every single person in this world.

Parents.

My parents did everything for me.

And that is why it is my turn to be the very best person I can be.

Make them proud and finally succeed.

Inspire others like how they inspired me.
