Dear mom and dad,

It's time to open your eyes and realise what you have done to me.

You left me in the middle of the sea in a broken boat trying to beg for help to whoever I see.

You turn me into someone who wants more attention than an artist who just made a painting hoping everyone will notice me and tell me I'm pretty.

You made me sit crying tears into my pillow wondering what I've done wrong the be forgotten like your old pair of blue jeans that's you never really liked anyway

This is the legacy you have passed on that i get to pass on to my kids because of you will i ever get to raise a child with the love and attention it will need or will I leave them the sea in a broken boat without a paddle
