Parents

In many homes today, children live with some type of parent.

Some live with their grandparents,

step- parent (or parents),

or for some, their foster parents.

Luckily for me, I live with both of my biological parents.

I'm so grateful for that and I thank God for my,

Parents.

Parents work hard each and everyday

In every kind of way

to take care of themselves, and their kids.

Some parents work one job, two jobs, or three.

Some parents even look forward for an

opportunity to receive overtime.

My parents took good care of me and raise me to the best

of their ability. As the scripture says, "Train up a child in the way

they should go, so when they grow older, they shall not depart from it.

A child can behave and decide "SOME" things for themselves, but

making the right decision is based upon their respect and behavior

So, when a child acts up, sometimes, you “could” blame the,

Parents.

See, without them, how would I been born or alive today?

How would I get the food that I eat?

How would I be able to talk the way I talk, walk the way I walk,

or even be able to write this poem for this scholarship?

To answer these questions, I would say,

Parents.

I have the best parents in the world.

There are no other types of parents like mine.

They are one of a kind.

My parents’ wishes the best for me and wants me to be successful.

I'm sure any parent would want that for their child.

So, again, I say, I thank God for my

Parents.
