Parents Just Don't Understand

Parents Just Don’t Understand

by Addison Hartford

Sometimes we can’t always trust our kids.

They sneak out, they text and drive, they get with bad guys.

We do our best to protect them.

And sometimes we can go a little overboard.

My friend however maybe went a little too overboard in my opinion

but hey she’s just being a mom.

Her daughter has the most beautiful blonde hair

And as a result my friend has had to beat the boys she attracts off with a stick

So like I said she maybe went a bit overboard last week

And kind of…

Locked her in a tower.

But I guess it wasn’t for no good reason.

because she snuck out a few nights later,

with a boy.

Using her beautiful blonde hair to do it no less.

Parenting is hard these days I guess.
