Paris will Sing Again

But Paris will Sing Again

We’ll meet in Paris in the spring.

The flowers will be blooming.

The troubadours will be singing,

And we’ll sway in rapture

As they sing.

The city’s glow will lead to love.

The Seine will whisper greetings.

The Eiffel Tower will add its welcome,

And the stars will send their blessings

From high above.

But then the clash of weapons

Spoils the magic spell,

And diners are now dying,

And Paris City of Lights

Is lit by fires from Hell.
