Parrallels

My heart has once been broken,
All of the words I wanted to say were misspoken,
The hurricane that is inside of me,
Is waiting for a complete new world to see.

Why are people constantly under a mask?
Why don't they try a challenge or a task,
To take off the mask, and show their real face,
Even if it ends with a bloody trace.

People are crushed, like thin ice,
Thinking that fixing themselves will have a big price,
There will never be a reason not to fly,
Even when you are about to cry.
