Part 1: Peace at Home
The sunrise today was so magical
This life seems like a dream.
To live in a time like this is a treasure,
No Greed, No Death, No Crime, only Pleasure.
After all the times of pain and naught
All our troubles have been forgot.
No worries or complications in the world in which we live,
For twenty years there has been no lives of service to give.
This peace at home is so wonderful;
This time of peace we will soon reflect.
We've heard of distant wars,
But I've seen none before.
No troubles do we have;
We just sing and play and laugh.
Having the time of our lives;
Never hearing the world's cries;
Our leaders preach of keeping the peace,
But they will never preach of our failings like Ancient Greece.
This peace at home now only exists in our minds,
For war is coming and we are running out of time.
