Part 3: Invasion
The unknown army on our shores marches,
Up our beaches and through the marshes.
Our defenses though strong, have been reached.
We fight to defend our walls still un-breached.
The city in our west has fallen first.
Sunken beneath the waves, tongues quenched with salty thirst.
When time at last for our capital's defense,
We fight with valor and defend against the siege.
The enemy pushed back,
But no sign of relief.
A hard fought campaign for our country has begun;
We must hold out, or else they have won.
Half our country has been lost, we must defend the rest,
For holding our own shall be the greater test.
Though populous they are, technology is our friend.
With it on our side, we shan't meet the end.
Three years it's been since our shores turned red.
Time draws on and our walls grow weak.
Nothing but gray and death is all I see.
My family is missing: I know they're dead.
Endlessly we fight; our barracks begin to reek.
I can't take this anymore: Tonight I plan to flee.
