A Part of Me

Wed, 06/19/2013 - 18:09 -- Sam555

I have held to myself this one great truth,
I now admit it, just to be couth.
You are a part of me, a part of me.
I now admit this heartily.
You are a part of me, a part of me.
As to which part, oh gee.
For you see, I find that like restless legs,
You travel wherever I go.
And you are also very burdensome,
Just like an infected toe.
You are a part of me, a part of me.
And not one I can lose.
You are a part of me, a part of me.
This is hardly any news.
Like an upset stomach,
You let everything out.
Like a burst appendix,
Your longevity could raise a doubt.
You are a part of me, a part of me
And one that I truly hate.
You are a part of me, a part of me
And now let’s amputate.
