A Part of Me

Your beautiful

Your gorgeous

Your my everything, so he says

I love you, he says.

And I ask myself "what do you know about love?"

Am I worthy of love? Am I worthy of someone's love?

Your not good enough

Your ugly

Your too skinny, I say.

Day and night I eat sleep and breath the next day

And so he says, your nothing to me but a screw

And so I believe.

And so a part of me whisphers to myself "I am worthy and I don't need you"
