Part Of My Life

I lived with Anger,

part of my life.

All I had was pain,

And strife.

Part of my life.

I lived with fear,

So high

That I bottled it up

And set it aside.

I hurt myself,

But never anyone else

But that’s what it seemed like

To everyone else!

I watched others come and go

As they pleased,

But they continued to tease.

Still said,

That I could not

Succeed.

I taught myself.

Not to laugh at others

in their pain,

And I tried to be sane.

To some I did not succeed at all,

When I beat on the wall.

Part of my life.
