Part of the Wall

(poems go here

I’m just a slab of cement throw into the shape of a square and thrown in the wall called society. You are forced to show no difference, no individuality, and no emotion. We are forced to be a machine in world around us. We are told what to be, what to look like, how to think, and being politically correct. On the day you become part of the brick of society's wall you end up whispering, “Goodbye Blue Sky”. Who can you trust in the society or the government?

As they brainwash our young learners to think without critical thought. Our sense of hope in our future is slipping quickly: are we to watch it fall or are we to put up a fight? The ones who flee the wall are in hiding wondering if there is anybody out there to help them rescue the others. They are scared of being caught and punished for opening their mind to a different reality.

As the screams and cries in the background get louder the patriotic past is slowly leaving our nation. Put a wall on our borders won’t save us from the evil that lies inside of it already. Evil that has been running our country ever since our first president. There are less empty spaces in the wall than back in the days where it was okay to not think like everyone else.

Do you remember those days of our long forgotten past? Sad to say many people don’t, what has become of the world I walk on every single day? Why can’t we just bring the boys back home and say it was a major mistake that we can never go back and fix. As the news numbs are questions from being spoken and heard. They think they can cure every disease and illness with a shot or pill, but not telling exactly what is inside of them.

Are we honestly doomed for a terrible ending or a drastic uprising? Hey you, the puppet of society called the media do you really know what you put on your spoon and feed us? The only words that come out of your money dirty mouths is the show must go on. Enjoy what you eat (you are what you eat they say).

Don’t be different you might disrupt the values you should have now. Keep that empty smile and walk away from it all. Start to run from it gathering the values you keep dear to your mind, body, and soul. Hiding who you truly are is not being true to yourself. Stop being part of the wall and win the trial you will face. Your whole life will change once you can see things clearly outside of the wall.
