Parting Words

I still feel final kiss that I gave you

Sadly you hugged me and said goodbye

I could not resist myself when I saw you

But when I saw your tears, I had to cry

I had to mourn the coming years

Not knowing where you are

I felt my lips were wet with bitter tears

Left with a broken heart and a vivid scar

And though I wanted to go insane

I went on my way, watched the years go by

I lived with the regret and lived with the pain

And never forgot, and always wondered why

But what's gone is gone and it will never be the same

The tears I cried were mine, but you are the one to blame
