Parts of me are going

Parts of me are going missing

I don’t know who started it, but I do know there is a girl wandering an elementary library

And I think she has my face,

Parts of me are going missing

I don’t know why it started, but I can see a girl sitting in the back of class head in a book because they won’t hear her anyway

And I know that’s my jacket,

Parts of me are going missing

I first noticed when I thought “If you don’t let them in it won’t hurt when they leave”

And I hope that’s not my heart,

Parts of me are going missing

If you find them take care of them and don’t forget to tell them how much I miss them

I’d tell you where to find me, so you can send them home but I’m a little lost myself,

And I know it can’t just be me so if I find any pieces of you I’ll hold on to them

Just make sure you do the same because we’re all missing a little bit of ourselves

And we’re all waiting for someone to find them.
