Pas de deux

“And no wonder for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14)

He may have found his plan

But he’s still missing a conscience

God complex

No convent

Preaching nonsense

All but honest

Not a doctor

But he can heal you

Through the doctrine

Peré of protestant

He’s confident

Declaring his modesty

Pure hypocrisy

His ideology

Paradoxically

Impossibly

Ecclesiastical dichotomy

Wants to be

A religious legacy

But his dishonesty

Displays his falsities

Through wrongfully

Socking me

Until I bleed

And it’s a true story

The control freak

Publicly adores me

Privately releases his fury

On me

He’s repeatedly sorry

But it’s all for show

Superficial

Only until

Another window

Opens

It’s a simple

Recurring syndrome

And I’m the victim

In this system

And the symptoms

Are harsh conditions

And it’s not love

But it sure gives

Knocking me off my feet

A meaning alternative

To one that’s sweet

And it’s discreet

Charming in the street

Though his daughters

Can still feel the heat

Of his rage

Faced with defeat

Kept in their cage

Feeling like prey

Do as they may

Fighting with words

But what they say

Cannot be heard

Over his fists

That sound as a mockingbird

Matching his mocking words

Chirp Chirp

But in the end

The only real thing silenced is

His supposed godliness,

Taking me by the wrists,

Therein cannot exist,

Within this thin shell of false holiness

Without chipping away

His temporary masquerade

But I am afraid

As his facade decays

He will be enraged

Even more deranged

And his actions will display

The bending of his brain

These mental games

Played for control

Reverse the roles

They take a toll

On his sanity

You cannot continually bestow brutality

Whilst proclaiming perfection actively

It’s blasphemy

Signs of multiple personality

But it’s not hard to see

Optically conspicuous

That he wishes

To be like Jesus

But he looks more like prosthesis

In a million pieces

Sir, weakness

Cannot be charged on Visa

As for the secrets

You know, the beatings

They’re existence won’t cease with

Innumerable stockholder meetings

Economic competing

Is fleeting

He sees this

Becomes sleepless

The guilt is intravenous

Left resonating inside needleless

Until his needle is

Needed quick

A mean addict

At his wit's end

He sticks it

Clenched fists

And it's only ironic

That this drug so diabolic

Could leave him helpless

With uncanny resemblance

To his victims

Similarly defenceless

The menace

Finally gets it

What it's like

To be dependent

So he ends it

And it's not hard

Just enlarge

His dose by three parts

And it hits the spot

But his heart stops

So the same

Vice that gives him life

Also stops his breath

Going to whence he came

Into and out of the dark depths

God Bless
