A Passenger on a subway without a conducter
A Passenger on a motorcycle without a helmet
A Passenger on a jet plane with a kamikaze pilot
A Passenger on a ski lift but the cables are frayed
A Passenger on a jet ski in an ocean with very rough waves
A Passenger on a bicycle but one without brakes
A Passenger in a kayak on a river infested with alligators and snakes
A Passenger in a hot air balloon on a very windy day
A Passenger on a prop plane in the middle of a hurricane
A Passenger in a disel truck that is just about to jacknife
A Passenger in a helicoptor but the propellors aren't working right
A Passenger on a trolley car on very bumpy streets
A Passenger on a boat that is just about to sink
A Passenger in an RV that is going way too fast
A Passenger on a train that is running off the tracks
When you don't set your own course
Life won't have pleasant things in store
When you are The Passenger instead of the drive
You are guaranteed to get less instead of more

Abstract metaphor of powerlessness, but grounded in concrete passenger scenarios.
Extremely dense; rapid-fire scenarios build relentless accumulation of ideas.
Strongly negative; danger, loss of control, inevitably bad outcomes throughout.
High kinetic intensity from repetition, escalating peril, breathless pacing.
Approximately 31-60 lines including closing couplet and attribution.
Extended metaphor of passenger as powerless; multiple vivid scenarios are figurative.
Primarily lyric/internal reflection with direct address; minimal dramatic persona shift.
