Passing On

What will after sound like to you? After our phone calls, After all the drives to Connecticut that we remember differently, After how proud you've been of me, becomes how proud I am of you. After I make the world Pay attention, What will it sound like When I write your name to you? Like trumpets in the evening that say you are not forgotten? Will you hear the laughter of my children in the morning, and recognize your own? May they look into the mirror and understand the power of a photograph?
