Passion Abound

The mountain of green was rising next to me,

I was terrified of the impending avalanche!

This enormous green heap was slowly matched in magnitude by a brown one,

casting a shadow over me.

As the mounds grew larger I had one thing on my mind;

I needed to finish!

I stood back as I was certain no more mountains needed to be built ;

And reflected on the yellows, pinks and oranges.

I spotted a bee buzzing and a butterfly sipping.

I had done well.

The ugly, weeded area was replaced by a designed landscape.

My passion. My peace. My pride.

My garden. The one thing I could not live without.
