Passion Changes

There are so many things in the world and in our life

That we cannot control.

I’ve learned this just like everyone else has or will.

The only thing you really have control over is yourself;

How you act towards others,

The friendships you form,

The choices you make.

Only you decide what your future holds.

If you can have a positive effect on someone

Whether it’s just by giving a compliment or helping a cause,

It may create a chain reaction.

Who you associate yourself with

And the fidelity you bring to those relationships

reflect who you are as well.

Most people think the world revolves around money and power

Because that’s what we see.

Bu t I believe PASSION is what matters most.

It is the fuel that feeds our desires,

Whether it be money and power or something less grandiose.

And whoever has the most fuel gets the farthest in their journey,

A bit closer to their final destination.

We control who we are

But our passion gets us to where we want to be.
