Passion for Fashion

Poetry means that I am free to be who I am.

I am the woman, who dreams to be a designer,

the woman that was once a minor.

The girl who dreamt to sew,

with a family who did their best to make it so.

I am creativity.

The thing that drives all minds to think,

the minds with a gift to see the future without a single blink.

When I close my eyes all I see are colors,

I’m so anxious to pick the fabrics,

To go with the design that will be like no other.

Doing what I love to do is the thing that drives me.

With fashion by my side nothing can defy me.

This scholarship would mean to me,

That I can receive an education as well as breathe.

It will help me to live my dreams,

As well as assist my financial needs.

Not only will it allow me to think without stressing,

But it will also be a financial blessing.

I am worthy because I will use the money wisely,

My books and my studies will be what occupy me.

I am the girl with a father, who was never around,

And a mother who never let me down.

I am determination,

And my love for fashion will forever be my motivation.

I am the woman, who will be a designer,

The woman that at a young age, felt a passion inside of her.
