Passion for Poetry

I was introduced to poetry

at a young age,

by reading children books written by,

Sharon Creech, Robert Frost,

and other writers in my day.

I was quite inspired,

by their choice of words,

so I explored other poets works,

in a Literature course.

There they had poetry,

written in the 1800’s,

by poets such as Ralph Waldo Emerson,

And ee cummings himself.

I decided to continue my education,

In journalism so I can write,

 And I can also learn more

about their works,

in their moment of time.
