The Passion of Writing.

Writing is a passion, not a forced habit.

Writing without passion,

Is like having a carrot, without the rabbit.

To many, writing is just a sort of fashion,

But to me, it is a lifestyle.

To write you need pen, paper, and pure imagination.

Writing is like running the mile,

You have to go the journey, to get to the destination.

I would like to say I can go without writing,

But then I would be fibbing.

There is simply no denying,

The words I keep on scribbling.

One thing I must not live without,

Is writing down my every thought.

If I had to give it up there is no doubt,

In sorrow I would trot.

Writing can be exciting, it can be fun

Poetry doesn’t even have to rhyme sometimes,

Yet it still gets the point across.

Yes, writing is my passion, my truth, and way of life,

Something I cannot live without, something I cannot hide.

One day when I’m older, even when I’m a wife,

I will still be writing, and keep travelling on this wild ride.
