The Passionate Adolescent to His Love

Come live with me. Come be my love Under the light of God above Just come with me, I'll be thy shield We shall reap what our love shall yield For much more hours than the clock I'll sit with you and we'll just talk Of life and love, the rise and fall Some days we may not speak at all I will be thine, you'll be my rose How long or where we'll be, who knows? Pack your gown, your cap, your girdle Our love shall grow where ground's fertile Long after our bells take their toll Our hearts shall remain to be full Tis your hand I'll love, kiss, and hold Once we run where "no" is not told We must find where our new life buds Where troubles hide and passion floods If all this thou wants me to prove Then far away, with me, you'll move Give your promise, I'll give a ring All I want is you each morning Come with me, my angel, my dove Come live with me and be my love.
