Passionate Fighter
I never lost the passion
I was still the fighter
Fire still licked at my soul
Until the day the Maelstrom came
Now all that's left is embers
until someone reminded me
of love, of passion, of life
Because it's sweet
and it's divine
and life's the best gift
that you've ever been given
I faced dread Persephone
and her husband, Hades
yet left the boatman behind
for the flames were being stoked
and though agony still flared
in my heart and in my soul
I learned from my past
without Kronos' help
so now I'll spread my wings
as I've learned to fly
It's time to make a change
I've already broken the mold
now, I'll shatter it because
“Ego me” (I am me.)
and I'll never change.
